CrossBo II IND-TECH III 2007IND-TECH III was the third in the series of successful Ind- Tech Events, a contact business meeting event held in Stockholm, Sweden on 18th &19th October 2007. Focusing on a specially selected area of business to promote co-operation between small and medium sized companies.

The NorthEast Euro Info Centre took companies from the UK to the event in Sweden, where around 100 companies attended from around the EU and Russia. Meetings were arranged with participating companies to help establish new contacts, find suppliers, producers, customers product developers or co-operation partners.
All IND-TECH III 2007 participants received free entry into the Tekniska Mässan Technical Fair which ran parallel to IND-TECH III. The event was a success with many business meeting taking place and new business contacts being established.

Wood Sector 2007 EU-Southern African Business Matchmaking Event
During the 13th & 14th Septemeber 2007 the NorthEast Euro Info Centre led the UK delegation for this business matchmaking event for companies from Europe and the Southern Africa coutnires Democartic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia
The secotors covered were
Furniture/Timber
Construction sector wood products and services
Packing materials
General wood based products
Wood industry machinery, equipment and tools
Industry support services, e.g. technology, design, R&D, treatment.
Companies met to disucss cooperation, buying, suppling and other business cooperation. Many bussiness contacts are being followed up.

B2B Changsha Business Matchmaking Event 2007
In September 2007 the NorthEast Euro Info Centre took a group of business from the UK to Changsha, China for a small bespoke multi sector B2B matchmaking event. This created opportunities for SMEs within the UK to meet with Co-operation Partners, Potential Buyers, Suppliers, Distribution Agents and Joint Ventures within China.
Companies were provided with funding to help towards the trip and meetings were pre-arranged with potential business partners, which included visits to company premises.
The event was considered a success with many companies currently following up on potential business contracts and partnerships.

CrossBo II Food Sector Business Matchmaking Event 2007
Fod Secotr Business Matchmaking event was a contact business meeting event held in Gdansk, Poland on 24th & 25th May 2007. Focusing on a specially selected area of business to promote cooperation between small and medium sized companies.

Meat and Poultry Products
Machines and Packaging
Organic Food
The NorthEast Euro Info Centre took companies from the UK to the event in Poland, where around 90 companies attended from around the EU. Meetings were arranged with participating companies to help establish new contacts, find suppliers, producers, customers product developers or co-operation partners.
All Food Event participants received free entry into the Delikatesy Fair which ran parallell. The event was a success with many business meeting taking place and new business contacts being established.
