During 2009 we will be running a series of R&D proposal clinics.
If you have a project idea and are looking to secure R&D grants from FP7, the UK Technology Strategy Board, BERR Grant for R&D or other R&D funding sources, we can help you to identify funding, build your consortium and prepare your application:
- Dates and locations of forthcoming clinics
- January 22nd at the Wilton Centre in Redcar
- Febuary 17th at NETPark in County Durham
- March 17th in Sunderland - Please outline your R&D idea using the project ideas form

Kite Innovation who have a solid track record of assisting high-scoring and high-ranking FP7 proposals
UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) workshops on hard coatings during January 2009
We are working with Durham University to identify UK companies interested in participating in a workshop on Hard Coatings, which will take place in Bangalore, India in the New Year on the 14th - 16th January 2009.
The annual workshop is intended to help forge links between UK and Indian and hopefully leading to successful long term commercial agreements.

FP7 Workshops winning and financing Framework proposals
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) is a €50 billion, 7 year programme designed to support enterprises in their research and development activities. The Enterprise Europe Network for the North East England is running two one day workshops aimed companies looking to participate in European Framework programmes and gain a better understanding of European Funding streams.

Tuesday 11 November: Finance inFP7: A comprehensive guide to the financial rules and regulations
The cost of the FP7 Workshop is £150 + VAT and includes all materials, refreshments and lunch. They will be held at Gateshead International Business Centre from 9 am until 4.30 pm.

FP7 Info Day: Biorefineries, Energy & NMP, 30th September
The European Commission's third Framework Programme Seven (FP7) call for proposals in Energy has already opened and NMP will be opening during November 2008. In addition, there is an extra 57M Euro cross-thematic joint call this year which is looking for proposals related to Biorefineries.
